I want to make it clear that I'm not a big fan of fear mongering. Life is way too short for that. But I also believe that life is too short to have it CUT SHORT by environmental pollutants you may not have been aware of. I realize there is no way to prove, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that any particular person may have died because of toxins in their water supply. But with cancer rates being as high as they have been over the last few decades, it's something that also can't be ruled out. You can see more on this page.
Our government's health agencies like the EPA haven't been doing the greatest job in letting all of us know how dangerous some of the toxins in our water really are. A lot of the toxins that are present in water are way above the EPA's health limits, and in many cases, when they actually DO meet the health guidelines, they are STILL way above what the EWG and the OEHHA consider to be a "Safe Health Limit."
I saw this video with Ken Cook from EWG about 10 years ago, and it was a real eye opener! Every American should see this.

While we're on the topic of trace amounts of toxins, I also recommend this documentary that is about trace amounts of mercury in vaccines.
